I feel really bad, i tought this sim can count litres/lap ratio. I put amount of 35laps fuel and fuel light came on lap 23-25.
Anyway it was nice to race again and to see there was many participants. :cheer:

This mod counts fuel wrong with some cars, but rFactor generally makes it not good.

B) Well I felt I was driving way too fast so  I decided to pit to give myself a challenge, giving up third place. I came out of the pits in 9th and pulled up to 7th before the clock ran out. :S - Guess I'll try another Pit Strategy next year
Great race everyone! I only saw one off the whole time I was racing and everyone was driving really well! A pleasure to be on the track with you guys for my first ever race! ;)

I made two or three driving errors in the first laps and so I lost the "touch" with the drivers that have my race pace. At that point the first aim was: avoid other stupid errors!

Beside I am still "fighting" with my wheel configuration (Thrustmaster T500): in other words in almost every turn I must rotate the wheel beyond the half of the rotation range (at Goodwood on the first turn after the start sometimes I reached the limit of rotation range). So I lowered the FFB to 25% and turn the T500 like a hoola hop. Result: I didn't drove but I cruised around the track with my Jag boat. ;)
If someone has an idea of what can I do suggestions are welcome (with others RF Mods I don't have this problem). :D
However I still try to find a solution, I really love this MOD and it's a pleasure run this champ. ;)

Keep calm and wait the chequered flag...

Qual: P6
Race: P3

Q:
Almost personal best, but Falcons and Mikko were untouchable.

R:
Good start, but Falcon on the right was faster and I had to go outside while one Mini driver jumped before me. Then I stayed in touch in the top 6 until I spun early in the race. I fell down to 12th place and started to recover. Almost whole race I chased incredible Nuno Vilela in Jaguar closing the gap between us from 15 to 1 s. on penultimative lap. The last lap was one of the best in my Historic GT career. I overtook Nuno finally at Lavant Corner but he was just behind be after that. We drove into a group of overlapped cars with 3rd Mikko inside. Mikko did mistake on Woodcote and I jumped on 3rd crossing the finisz line with less than 1 s. advantage over Nuno. Great race finally and great competitors.

See you at Croft. Short movie from my last lap below:

Mikko, get yourself the XD plugin. It's easy to install and use. It will tell you how many litres your using per lap and from that you can calculate your fuel usage for the race. Never rely on rFactor is extremely unreliable. I know from the experience. I tried GID which for rF2 work great as it tells you the amount of time your fuel load will give you but this doesn't seem to work in rF1 so XD is the one to go for.

You download the plugin from here

I had similar problem with my wheel. I had accidentally pressed f1 steering assist on. Also make sure you dont have any speed sensitivy from settings.

I lost my head on the first lap got sucked into a fight with the 2 Falcons and Mikko's Fiat and went off at St. Mary's. From 3rd to almost last in a second. Damn what was I thinking. There was no way I was going to win out in a fight with those cars especially the Falcon's. I began putting together a good set of laps and started catching and passing cars but then went off at Lavant and smashed up the front end. The car was almost uncontrollable after that so had no choice but to pit. 205 seconds later drove out of the pits last of the runners and a lap down on the next car in the field. Race over. Thought about leaving but there may have been places to gain but no one in front fell off so 13th was all I could manage. Driving head wasn't screwed on properly at the beginning of the race but managed to fix that in the pits and I actually put in great laps after it but there was nothing I could do as I was too far behind. Always great to race here at Goodwood brings back memories of many Revival meetings that I've been to. Hope to do better next time.

Ok thanks Mikko, this evening I will check. :)

However I found this post on NoGrip that explains how to configure the wheel:
