Not always. You were in points 3 times in the season so far. Don't give up, just ask me for a setup.

The same happened to me today, mostly in the first laps of practice when I was discovering the car characteristics and looking for the line and reference points on the track.
At first I couldn't make a stint of 4 or 5 laps without spinning every lap; then after a while I found some consistency and was able to do lap after lap in the same second shaving some tenths in each one. The strategy was the classical "slow in - fast out", concentrating in always try to brake early in a safe way, because ost of my spins were trying to late-brake.
Finally, and during the race, I started to feel that I had the car under control, and shaved a few seconds from my practice best time in a 5 or 6 laps stint that made me fell the pleasure of track dring again.
But I don't race regularly in a long time, didn't had enough practice with these cars, and the formulas were never my prefered class, and after a few good laps I started to spin here and there again. Lack of practice, a dificult car and the concentration dificulty that the fact of not feeling in control originate made me make mistakes paid with spins.
The key is practice practice practice untill you feel confident with a regular pace that you fell you can keep lap after lap. My 2 cents worth, of course.

Q: P1
R: P1

Qual:
I did my task with the fastest single-lap car on the grid.

Race:
After good start I kept my P1 from qual. Monza is a hard track due some aspects. I was afraid of my "tanker" in the first half of the race. Luckily, the others had their problems too. My philosophy was the "controlled race pace" regarding to current situation and avoiding major mistakes. The threat was behind me personified by fast and furious Mariusz Lebioda who pushed like hell and I wasn't the fastest driver. He almost overtook me on Lesmo where we even touched, after my earlier 2 s. time loss while overlapping Antonio Tavares. Anyway my win wasn't sure until I came to finish but I did it finally.

Promising score gain before two last races. See you in Montreal.
