Is it possible to get the Live Timing back for this new server? Is it free anymore? Nice to have :)

The Lite version is free

liveracers.com/Support/Pricing

That would be the same as before but I think its maybe effort to set it up.
But I see the bright side without LiveTiming it remains a "secret" until the practise before the race that I am four seconds off pace. So I did a 1:38, hopefully the front runners are not faster than 1:34 :P
But I fear you guys are close to 1:30´s

#Paul

It's possible but I can't do it myself. Davie can do it, but he didn't do it yet. Pity I'm not "tech guy" with server things.

If you or somebody can do it, we can speak and I can give someone access to server's remote desktop.

Q: 6th
R: Retired (connection lost)

Qual:
Rather ok, no huge traffic. Slightly nervous due to broken PC with WinXP.

Race:
Good start, fight with Allan (sorry bro for little touch - my brain was out there). Almost hit the wall but returned on track. Then 1-2 laps fight for recover and CL. Game over. End of story. Watching if Allan will take 3rd in final classification.

Tonight I buy new stable router instead that crap I have.

Q:7
R:5

Q: Last lap effort to beat Juan Manuel for P7. 0.3 slower than PB which is not ideal but ok. Gap to front runners up to two seconds which was better than expected (good guess with the 1:35 Toni)

R: Bad start as always the good thing is that the start finish straight is tight, so there was only enough space for Juan Manuel to get by. Csaba (I think) outbraked himself into turn one and had to retire. (Marek and Toni had also problems at lap one, both into the turn after the long straight) A shame but good for me because I had a bigger gap to the next car behind. I tried to follow Juan Manuel and that worked to a certain point as he made a mistake in the fast downhill section. That made it possible for me to pass him.
He was able to recover and got bigger and bigger in my rear mirror. Unreal how much he was drifting, it was really hard not to look into my mirrors as it looked spectacular how he got through the corners. Somehow a smart tactic ;) Then Alan was the other way round in the last corner, but there was no way that Juan Manuel or I could hold him. He was much faster and repassed both of us. But soon after that Juan decided to let me alone (usual corner I think) and my try to follow Allan was unrealistic. Not that much drifting than Juan but still on another planet compared to me.

The only logic decision was to settle down and drive the result home. I made two mistakes as I fought with my concentration but I made no difference. P5 is not fully deserved but I take it.

Last but not least thank Marek for hosting this event, hopefully I will find time to continue. Time will tell.

I'm feeling I did my best with what I had and it payed off. Very pleased with my performance over the event itself.

I had very little time to practice, this week but, thankfully, I managed to test the cars at the beginning of the championship. I wanted to race classic Trans Am cars since I started sim racing, but never had a chance to do it, so I was very interested in this one. Actually, I did drive a Firebird and a Barracuda in CEMFACTOR, a italian hillclimb league, but that was a bit different. Back to this race: turns out I was faster with the Challenger, oflline, and had no time to test again on the week, so, Challenger it was.

I finished fuel calculations a couple of hours before the race. I had a solid performance and wasn't improving, so I left to eat lunch (brazilian time zone :) ). When I came back, everybody was logging in and it was great to see that, from what was happening, I had both a chance at the race and at the championship, if something magic would give me the victory and make Paul finish fourth, that is. That'd be an exciting event!

Managed to clock my PB at the first lap of qualifying, with a very clean and composed lap. After that, I got one other clean lap, a little slower then the first one, and that was it. Pole position with an angry group of muscle cars right behind,

I was aware it wasn't easy to pass, in this track (that's being usual, here), so I was counting on a good start and with any eventual chaos that could happen between everybody else. Turns out some overtakes happened and, after turn one, I had Allan and Aytor behind me and ahead of Paul. Looking good!

I shut the inside as I sense Allan diving in, so he loses some positions and I end up with a gap big enough to manage my pace. I pushed for a few laps, always rooting for Allan to reach the battle between Aytor and Paul. Around the tenth lap, I was in a safe condition and changed my driving, trying to reduce my rear tire wear rate.

From here on, it was a matter of managing the gap while being cautious not to touch the grass in any dangerous way until the end of the race. A quiet finish, in a very loud car, for a very noisy championship.

Congrats to Paul for the championship! Thanks to Marek and every driver, for hosting and for the amazing races! It's being a couple of busy months and I don't know if I'll be able to race on season 5, but I'll give my best to be here.

Last race of the championship :( and the race for the championship.

I had worked out a few permutations on how the championship could be decided and figured out a top 3 finish would be all I needed if Matheus won the race.

Qualy : Did a good lap (not PB) to claim second place. Had to do a good lap as I was only a fraction of a second ahead of Allan in 3rd. Well done Matheus another pole position for you. As the points are divided into two parts I wonder whether that gives you the edge in terms of qualy points?

Race: Didn't get the best of starts and Aitor and another car got ahead of me before I'd really got moving. I had a high gear ratio for first which was going to become a problem throughout the race.

The first few laps were a blur and I can't quite remember what happened. Somehow found myself in third place behind Aitor and for a few laps was sitting right in his very loud exhaust pipes. The Americans can't make cars but what they lack in engineering ability they sure make up in the noise department.

Allan began pushing for my place and he got it going up to the fiddly bit of the track. Followed Allan for a few laps until he made a mistake going into the final corner. His car began over steering and was going off the track before I gave him a little tap on his rear quarter. Sorry Allan tried to avoid you but just couldn't turn enough. Later Allan said he had a CTD so that would explain his slide and hitting the wall.

Sat behind Autor for a while keeping my distance because I knew that the championship was mine if I didn't make any mistakes and kept the third place. I had a good gap to those behind me about 12 seconds so no pressure there. Either I got faster or Aitor made a mistake and the gap closed until once again I was sitting in his tailpipes. The racer took over and try as I might I couldn't overtake. Aitor had an arse wider than a wide arse. That long first gear meant I couldn't accelerate fast enough out of the fiddly bit on to the back straight. So I never quite caught up with Aitor by the end of the straight. The few times I did manage to catch up, Aitor stretched his arse  out and covered off the overtake. Race over, third place and the championship is mine :)

Well done Matheus for your win :)
Thanks Aitor for a good race :)

Thanks to every driver who took part. It's been a pleasure to drive with good clean racers :)
Thanks Marek for organising these events. Another great set of tracks and car combo's :)
