Well I got everything running,

If you see me on the server... I'm in.

If I can't get on... better luck next time...

I own crappy boxes... well you know what? 20gigs on a Asus P7P55 LX with an i7-860 running an Asus 560GTX (1gig) on an new AOC Q2963 screen... I'm doing way better! But I still endlessly mod rFactor...

There is no need to unzip files. Just execute HistoricGT_v196_Part1 and keep an eyeon the how to install readme file. It's a lot easier than unzipping and moving folders. Goes without saying that a fresh rFactor 1 install is in order.

"Execute HistoricGT_v196_Part1.exe as administrator (in Windows Vista or later) and follow the instructions that will appear. Be patient, uncompressing and installing the files will take time. Once the progress bar reaches the end and you see "Complete" in the details click the "Close" button.

- After you had clicked "Close" the second part of the installer, HistoricGT_v196_Part2.exe, should start automatically. You'll have to pass the GTL check and select the installation folder again, so just follow the same steps you followed to install the first installer.

Please note due its size the second part may need some minutes to start automatically once the first has finished. If after some time it doesn't please launch it manually.

Once installed it's time to follow the mod configuration steps written in the manual. We strongly recommend you to do it before playing!!"

So I got everything to run 20 minutes before the race... LoL!

I don't think I hindered anyone.

I ran default setup, even qualied with the default lock of 26 degrees. I have an older wheel that only turn 270...

So I'm in... for the next 3 weeks. The contract I got right now will need me during the weekends next month.

It'll be fun.

Cya all next Sunday.

Yes, you just write "I'm in" and you are in. :)

You need the mod, the trackpack, the wheel and the will (of racing). Download all you need and go online.
