Anyone able to lap under 1:43 can upload his hotlap replay file?

Despite after some practice feeling at ease on the track, I'm stuck on regular 44's and ocasional high 48's, and I'm out of ideas on how to lower times.
I need to see in wich sections I can choose faster lines or in one word where am I loosing time.

Maybe you go too wide, the same thing was at Botniaring where better line was made by closer attack of the apex.

I will send you replay as I will be back home.

You're right, I was losing time in that triple right complex followed by the tight left leading to the back straight. I adjusted my lines and I'm on regular 43's now, with a 43,060 as best lap. I'm also clipping most of the kerbs around the track and overall I think I shaved a full second. Working to grab a 42 tomorrow on qualifying. Thxs mate! ;-)

Whew. 5am start here in New Zealand but today is a public holiday so afternoon nap for me :-)

No prac until 1/2 hr before race, managed to cut my 1:50 qual into 1:46-47s in race. 3-4 sec gap to leaders on longer track is about my normal pace. Slow and steady (but if you fall off the track I can make it hard for you to get back past me ....).

1st on-line race for a couple of years, enjoyed it.

Will do an intro post later.

Qualy: almost had a disastrous qualy having to wait near the end to put a good lap in. Didn't see what other times were set so don't know how close things were. Pole position secured :)

Race: OK, OK the BMW was the faster car here. If I'd done any kind of practice in the Capri I would have changed but I didn't. You all had your chance to pick the faster car so I'm not going to apologise for my win. What can I say about this. Not a lot more. Started 1st finished 1st in between there was a dull bit.

On to the next race a one car fits all affair. This will be a great battle around one of my favourite circuits. See you all next week.

Well done to Aitor and Marek for the podium places :)
Well done to all who finished :) and commiserations to those that didn't :(

Qualy: P4

My bestlap in the best moment for a good P4 when I was expecting a TOP6.

Race: P2

Good start and I try to gain position to Allan outside to have the inside line in T2, but slightly I hit him side by side and he went to the grass. Sorry Allan. After that I was in 2nd place and I defended it with almost a perfect race with one mistake and 2 scary moments braking but a I had a good pace to keep this 2nd place with Marek and Juan Manuel behind me. Marek try one shot to overtook me, but he went wide and then I had more luck to understand lapped cars and I took an advantage that I kept until the end of the race.

Normal race for me, into nobody's land...

About the incident noted in penalty thread; I tried to avoid disturb other drivers when they lapping me, but at that point, my "idea" was to let pass the first car in the braking zone, and keep tight right to the corner in order to let the second one overtake me at the corner itself. When I realized that the first one brake much more earlier than I expected, and I was going to end In front of him or worst (crashing), I decided to go as fast as possible until the next straight zone and then let the two car overtook me there. I understand that they lost some time there,... but I expected that they were faster at that point... I hope to manage better this kind of situation in the future...

Had a bad 1st race for Season 5,Aitor cut into me on the first corner causing me to exit the track, which in turn lost me a few places.Had a good couple of laps clawing a few places back, then hitting a wall i got a punture so headed back to pits..66secs to replace tyres i headed back out but steering was damaged,my wheel 10-2 to keep it straight lol,so i quit out..No point carrying on and getting in people,s way..

A point i would like to make if i may...........
I race HistorX also on RaceDepartment and there if you have an incident,a spin,a coming off, caused by another driver, the driver who caused the incident must wait for you to rejoin the track and then resume..In my case last night if Aitor had waited,to me that would have been the end of it,resumed racing and had another go lol..Unfortuanatley he has recieved a penalty, which the Judges deemed fit to impose.........but by just waiting giving the place back and carrying on,it can save a lot of trouble, cut down on penalities, and make you more aware of cleaner racing...There will always be incidents but making it fair and fun is what it is all about...Im fairly new on here but the time i,ve spent so far i sure do enjoy this racing, great guys, close racing..This is just my opinion, i no the Judges word is Final..........

Q: 2nd
R: 3rd

Qual:
Pretty impressive laptime after horrible "1 hour before" when my router warned me with "Connection Lost" again like at Mosport. Unfortunately it was new router which had to keep the connection like hell. Then I decided to install Windows XP and all necessary data on another disc as quick as possible, I completed my task just "2 Minutes To Midnight" so I was on duty at 19:00 CEST on track where I did my PB and 2nd place.

Race:
Lazy start. Aitor overtook me what was crucial for the final result at this hard-to-overtake circuit with one place possible to do it properly. Allan lost himself in space behind. Paul disappeared ahead. I saw mainly Aitor's back attempting to overtake time to time. No effect. Juan passed me after my mistake, I recovered my position soon. Despite some mistakes Aitor kept his 2nd to the finish line with a little help of Jorge (no offence - just kidding ;) ) who raced with me in two corners while being overlapped - podium is a good result for the driver who almost didn't practice.

#Jorge
Just releasing the throttle on that straight for 1 second would be enough. I expected your behaviour with entering that right fast corner so we didn't hit each other. In that place you shouldn't have ideal race line in the apex as you did, because overlapping you outside line was impossible for me. :)
