My setups for Porsche 911 RSR @ Philip Island

I set my fastest time with setup TS4 but I think TS3 is more stable.

Well,I'm very nervous these days.I need to move soon, but I am too tired.
I hit Antonio again in the race and I must apologize to him.He almost stalled in that slow right corner, but there is no excuse,I tapped him in the middle of corner.Sorry Antonio.
After that i started to wait for him,but my short temper pressed the esc button :)
This was not my day
I started well, but i realized there was no ffb for me and i went off,but after restart ffb button ffb worked again.

Marek asked whether I was a robot after my win here. I take that as a compliment I think  The reality is I practice a lot and with 3 weeks in between races I did plenty of it. The race was a lonely affair and was a case of concentrating and pumping in the laps. That's it not a lot else to say.

Right I'm off for an oil bath and a reboot ;)

Well done to the other podiums :)
Well done to all that finished :) and commiserations to those that didn't :(

Next week at Mondello Park my favourite track from GT Legends.

Of course Paul isn't a robot. He is perfect made android.

Honestly speaking he deserves what he does. Great fast pace, no mistakes, a lot of work with the proper setup, practice and practice... It gives great advantage over the rest of drivers and it's the great example of true simracer.

I started to practice in the race day due to my holidays and trust me as I saw my first 1:51 comparing with the best 1:42.8 while it's only 3-4 hours to the event, it's hard and frustrating. Luckily I received good setup from JM Feri what showed me how to adjust gears to reach proper speed and acceleration. Then I copied the gearing and started to make own setup. Little changes with gearing again, little trials of tire pressure and suspension and go! I did 2nd laptime only 0.5 s. worse than Paul so I became prepared to race. The car wasn't so stable as Paul's T3 setup but... it didn't matter. I only needed how to drift with Colin McRae style in some corners. ;)

Anyway... 2nd in qual and 2nd in the race with secure gap over Aitor. Quite and peaceful race with front right tire wear which caused my car to dance in last 3-4 laps.

Good comeback from holidays and I'm happy with the result. Paul was unbeatable, but... happens. We'll see at Mondello. ;)

Grats to all drivers who came and to the podium especially.

It's not important enough to go and verify the replay, but I think I remember slowing down more than usual precisely to avoid what you were not able to: a slower car ahead. Trying to pass a car that you just reached braking in the same line is not a good idea, as different cars and drivers have different braking points. Anyway, no problem as I had no damage and later on was able to reach Jorge and have a nice fight with him untill the last lap.
