OULTON PARK FOSTERS

Event date: 13.12.2011

Event schedule:
19:00 CET - Practice
21:00 CET - Qualifying
21:10 CET - Warmup
21:15 CET - Race

Number of laps: 38 (+ Formation Lap)
Car Choice: Class B

Important note:
Please take the proper class B car or you will get a ban as the qualifying starts!


Official training will be held on 09.12.2011 at 19:00 CET. It will be possible to make 10 lap miniraces at will.

Qual: P7

Very good lap made in not the best car on grid. Just approx. one tenth behind Thoo24Mass driving the same car. Better than some Alpinas and Escorts. Good position to attack at

the race start.

Race: P4

Rocket start - I overtook king81 easily just as the green lights came and finally gained 3 positions. I was 4th for the long time keeping Black and king81 behind. Black pushed too hard and he spun on L7. King81 was safe 2 s. behind me until my front left tyre came red and I couldn't race with the best pace. I let king81 pass me on L17 and shortly after that I visited pits on L20. I have made a good setup, came to pits only with 2 liters of fuel. It took 80 seconds and I was back on track on 8th place. I had a good pace in the second stint and I gained one position as Thoo24Mass went off the track and retired. I won two positions more as Aceofbase and pipa visited the pits. The whole second part of the race I was on Ari Antero's tail, watching his battle with overlapped DYM (who should let us pass). Ari probably killed his tires and I decided to attack him at the end of the race.

(Un)fortunately he did a mistake and spun just behind my nose on L35. I finished behind three Porsche 906s and I was "the best of the rest", because 906 were unbeatable on this track.

There was 18 drivers at Oulton on the grid. A great number of players. Keep rockin' guys!

See you at Snetterton next week - Class A race.

Taking into account that I ended the Brands Hatch on lap 1 puncturing the tire on the side wall and I was absent on the second race (though I would probably also have a DNF in this maniac Ford GT) this result is very good ;]
I lost with Sulla whoose pace I couldn't match. I started easily - loosing a position to Fireball in a beige car <yukh> ;] then went on with my regular pace waiting for all to make their pits. I was so concentrated that I didn't even notice that I was leading the race at one point. Three times it was very close for me to end the race - someone was backing up from the grass onto the track ;] then one BMW was standing sideways on the second-to-last corner and a porsche was spinning just in front of me ;] I hit the grass a couple of times but managed to get back on track and go for the flag as the only - not lapped by Sulla driver :D

Hi, chose 906 because it could ride the kerbs without flipping, didn't think it could compete with the Escorts on pace but figured consistency and the ability to reduce pit stop length by not taking any fuel would make up for that. Was suprised at the pace i managed to get out of it though, very smooth car.

Got pole, ran wide onto some kerbs lap 1 and AUS got through, from the start my job was to manage the tyres, especially when it was heavy with fuel. Was sorry to see AUS vanish at end of lap one with a disconnect....unlucky was really looking forward to see how the race would pan out.

Tbh though looking at how all the escorts did versus the 906's i think AUS was onto a loser, that Capri in my mirrors was a suprise though, i'd tried the Capri and thought it a little sluggish up the hill from Knickerbrook.

Just paced myself for the entire race trying to decide which tyres to change, all/front/rear. Went with rears and the front left took a hammering and was suffered rapid heating on the last lap indicating deflation.....just about made it :)

Don't expect this kind of thing from me much though, i tend to pic thecar that handles nice rather than outright laptimes....the Porsche was my fave at this track.

Pozwoliłem sobie zrobić 12 minutowy filmik z wyscigu oulton park fosters :) Oskara raczej nie zdąbede ale zawsze coś jest :laugh:

Fajny materiał dobrze obrazujący jak w tym modzie wygląda walka. Jeszcze jest więcej wyprzedzań po błędach innych ale parę czystych akcji też było. Miło popatrzeć, szkoda tylko że momentami nie wiadomo kto to jedzie bo takie same auta są.

No Oskara nie będzie ale może jakaś Złota Kaczka :P
