Anyone knows how to get xD working in the Steam version of rFactor?

I use the rFactor DVD version just because xD works there; but it would be great if I could make xD work in the Steam version as this one has some improvements over the DVD version, like new FOV adjustments and support for more than 2 controllers.

Shouldn't you buy it on Steam? :cheer:

I have both. A licensed DVD version, that is the one I'm using, and the Steam version.
And I'm not using the Steam version for only one reason: X2 doesn't work there.
But if XT would work I would prefer Steam over the DVD, for the reasons I mentioned before.

Oh, sorry. I didn't understand you first post properly. I treated xD as the emoticon. Now it's all clear.

Does the Steam version allow for multiple installs? I don't think it does which is the reason I won't be bothering with it.

If you use XPadder with the DVD version you can have as many controllers as you want. I have 5 controllers working with the old version :)
