1. Williams FW07, Ligier JS11
2. Renault RS12, Ferrari T4
3. Lotus 79, Renault RS11
4. McLaren M29, Lotus 80
5. Brabham BT49, Tyrrell 009
6. Brabham BT48, Wolf WR79
7. Arrows A2, Alfa Romeo
8. Ferrari T3, McLaren M28
9. Arrows A1, Ensign N179
10. Williams FW06, Renault RS01, Shadow Dn9
11. Fittipaldi F5/F6, Rebaque HR79/100
12. ATS, Merzario, Ensign N177

So, we have to take for every race a different car, as we cannot use the same car twice, right?

If you ask me, that sucks
It takes so much effort to learn those '79 cars, now we have to learn 12 different cars in one season

But I'll take what we have, if everyone else agrees with this format I'll adapt myself to it. I will suck anyway :P

I understand your point of view but "learning the car" shouldn't so big problem if you have 2 weeks for it. However, you mentioned very important thing that the system which forced the drivers to select the cars they maybe don't want to race. I must think it again... and I think I have the solution. Just give me some time. I invented dozens of systems for GP1979. The most important thing is to not kill the series by stupid regulations.

EDIT:

Maybe system below will suit better.

Cars are ordered as follows:

1. Williams FW07
2. Ligier JS11
3. Renault RS12
4. Ferrari T4
5. Lotus 79
6. Renault RS11
7. Lotus 80
8. McLaren M29
9. Brabham BT49
10. Tyrrell 009
11. Brabham BT48
12. Wolf WR79
13. Arrows A2
14. Alfa Romeo
15. Ferrari T3
16. McLaren M28
17. Arrows A1
18. Ensign N179
19. Williams FW06
20. Renault RS01
21. Shadow Dn9
22. Fittipaldi F5/F6
23. Rebaque HR79/100
24. ATS
25. Merzario
26. Ensign N177

The system bases on current drivers classification. First race the car choice is FREE. After the first race we take a look at drivers classification and block some cars according to drivers current position.

P1-P2 driver - Top8 cars blocked
P3-P4 driver - Top6 cars blocked
P5-P6 driver - Top4 cars blocked
P7-P8 driver - Top2 cars blocked

So we can see only Top8 cars can be temporary restricted. The rest of cars (BT49 or lower) are available all the time. The most interested thing is JOKER. It's a feature allowing to take ANY car in the season. There is ONE JOKER at the start of the season, but used once it can be unblocked by taking any SLOWER car TWO times (any time, not in a row). Slower cars would be 17-26 cars (Arrows A1 or lower).

Example of using JOKER during the season (with FW07 as the best car):

R1: FW07
R2: FW07 (joker)
R3: 17-26 car
R4: 17-26 car
R5: FW07 (joker)
R6: 17-26 car
R7: 17-26 car
R8: FW07 (joker)
R9: 17-26 car
R10: 17-26 car
R11: FW07 (joker)
R12: normal car taken according to the current position

Description of the example:
In Race 1 I start with FW07. In Race 2 I use FW07 again, as a joker. I lost joker but I can unblock it by taking any 17-26 car in two races. So, in Race 3 I use Shadow Dn9, in Race 4 I use Shadow Dn9 again. Joker is unblock. In Race 5 I use FW07 as a joker. In Race 6 and 7 the situation repeats: I use 17-26 car twice. In Race 8 I can use FW07 as a joker again. It repeats in R9 to R11 when I can take FW07 as a joker finally. I can't unblock it because of Race 11 is penultimative race. In Race 12 I use the car that is allowed by the system. Over.

I think it's not so complicated, because "car availability" is clear, visible, updated and published by admins. You just click on the link, see and decide which car can be used.

Dla mnie osobiście idealny byłby taki kalendarz:

Round 1: 22.09.2013 - Mexico City 88
Round 2: 06.10.2013 - Spa-Francorchamps
Round 3: 27.10.2013 - Jerez

dalej bez zmian, Monaco każdy zna, więc tydzień przygotowań wystarczy :-) (trzy pierwsze terminy uwzględniają terminarz serii w której jedzie Aitor)

Round 4: 03.11.2013 - Monaco 79
Round 5: 17.11.2013 - Osterreichring 79 (or Adelaide 88)
Round 6: 01.12.2013 - Goodwood
Round 7: 15.12.2013 - Hungaroring (or Imola 94)
Round 8: 05.01.2014 - Mont-Tremblant
Round 9: 19.01.2014 - Daytona Road Course
Round 10: 02.02.2014 - Detroit
Round 11: 16.02.2014 - Hockenheim 79
Round 12: 02.03.2014 - Silverstone 79

Proszę o spojrzenie przychylnym okiem, na moją propozycję.

I like this system, it makes people race different cars without having to drive them all.

Well the system driving a different car for 12 races sounds exhausting  it will involve more practice having to learn the different chassis and be compatible, I would prefer the Joker system as I would only have to adapted 2 different chassis.
I vote for the JOKER :woohoo:
